Job Title: QA/QC Coordinator
Location: McArthur River
Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9 years) or Senior (10+ years)
Work Schedule: 2 weeks in / 2 weeks out, 11 hours per day
Role Description / Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor the quality of work performed by construction personnel.
· Oversee the activities of fabricators, vendors, and work teams to ensure constructed assets meet expected specifications and quality requirements.
· Review and approve inspection and test plans provided by contractors.
· Review construction contractors’ quality management plans at the start of construction.
· Monitor the quality control program throughout construction, ensuring adherence to inspection and test plans.
· Manage and coordinate construction deficiencies with the Construction Management Team (CMT) and contractor personnel.
· Coordinate construction turnover at the end of the construction phase.
· Work independently within a larger project team.
Skills / Previous Experience:
· Working knowledge and general experience with electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems.
· Understanding of codes and standards applicable to industrial construction.
· Familiarity with quality systems, processes, and best practices.
· Proficiency in SharePoint and Microsoft Office 365.
· Journeyman status in Electrical/Instrumentation (E/I) or Mechanical trade. Preference given to E/I background.
