Job Type: Casual, Permanent, Part-time, Full-time

Schedule: 8-hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday, Weekend availability

Job Description:

NATT Safety Services, a fast-growing company, is on the lookout for an exceptional Safety Trainer to join our dedicated team in Sault Ste Marie and surrounding areas. If you’re a seasoned professional with a passion for delivering top-notch safety training through a combination of expertise, engagement, and hands-on instruction, you’re exactly who we’re searching for!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive learning environment catering to the diverse culture of the client audience.
  • Actively engage participants using principles of adult learning.
  • Deliver engaging training programs utilizing presentation software and hands-on demonstration equipment.
  • Work independently, demonstrating initiative in training delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, clients, and the management team.
  • Provide consultation services as needed.
  • Prepare, administer, and mark tests for required training certifications.
  • Assist in gathering and analyzing information to design and develop curriculum.
  • Track and update employee training data using various platforms.

 

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Education or demonstrated expertise in the field of instruction.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in training or equivalent.
  • A Certificate in the “Train the Trainer” program is an asset.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Train the Trainer qualifications in programs such as Work at Heights, and Confined Space Entry are assets.
  • Ability to prioritize demands.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows and Office.

  • Ability to commute/relocate: Looking for trainers throughout Ontario.
  • Work Location: In person.
