Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent

Location: Blind River Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9 years)

Role Notes: Mechanical Superintendent for a 3-week shutdown beginning in June.

Key Responsibilities:

· Ensure contractors work safely and adhere to safety program requirements.

· Develop detailed work plans according to the company’s workforce planning processes.

· Supervise field labor on mechanical/piping scopes of work ensuring safety and quality.

· Oversee contractor activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.

· Inspect completed work, identify deficiencies, and manage their completion.

· Monitor schedule and productivity, resolving issues collaboratively.

· Validate and approve contractor labor, equipment, and material reports.

· Coordinate field activities between contractors and the company operations team.

Skills / Previous Experience:

· Experience with multi-discipline mechanical work (mechanical equipment, piping) required.

· Experience in a brownfield construction environment is required.

Pre-access Activities:

· Pre-access substance testing

· Complete security clearance forms, including background check

Technical:

· Journeyperson Status – E/I

· Journeyperson Status – Mech

· Supervisor Training
