Job Title: Construction Coordinator

Years Experience: Intermediate (4-9 years)

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday each week, 40 hours per week

Role Description / Key Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating the annual Infrastructure Refurbishment campaign through 2024 and beyond. This includes managing various work scopes and areas around the mill site. Reporting equally to the Projects Construction Managers and the Key Lake Mill Manager, the coordinator ensures that work scopes are executed efficiently and on time. This role involves planning and coordinating multiple small shutdowns throughout the year to replace deteriorated assets around the site.


· Creating, maintaining, and communicating the work schedule.

· Planning and recording operations downtime required for completing the work, in collaboration with the Mill Manager.

· Estimating and communicating construction timelines in coordination with the Construction Manager and contractors.

· Regular communication and reporting to Mill Operations and Mill Process groups.

· Identifying and communicating shutdown requirements with support from Mill Operations.

· Planning construction work to maximize time during shutdowns for successful and timely installations.

· Communicating timelines and responsibilities for temporary process workarounds (e.g., electrical feeds, temporary hoses instead of piping).

Skills / Previous Experience:

· Prior experience using mobile devices, including field tablets.

· Experience in construction is considered an asset.

· Strong organizational skills are required.
